The SC Kids Lobby can be found in the back left corner of our main lobby.
When you arrive, there will be a Storyteller eager to welcome you, register your family, and direct you to their classes!

We have intentionally created specific environments for kids to experience the tangible love of God. Our vision is for the kids of Soma to grow in a relationship with Jesus and each other. Even the smallest of hands and feet get to experience God through worship and the real stories of Jesus led by our amazing team of SC Kids Storytellers.

FAQs
What classroom will my children go to?
Our SC Kids classrooms are intentionally designed and to meet the learning and developmental needs of those in our spaces so we have created 4 rooms; Babies (0-24 months), 2-3s (2-3 year olds), 4-K (4 year olds - 6 year olds that are in Kindergarten), and Elementary (1st grade - 5th grade). Our SC kids are promoted to the next classroom based on their birthdays & our Kindergarteners are promoted into the Elementary room in the fall.
What does Sunday morning look like for my children?
Sundays at Soma are a whole lot of fun, no matter how old you are! Kids are designed to learn through play, so we have knowingly made space to foster their creativity by providing free choice time. All of our SC Kids get to sing and dance to worship, hear the story of Jesus led by our amazing Storytellers, and make their own craft or play a group game.
Safety
The safety of every child is our highest priority for SC Kids and Students.
For kids, each child's name tag is uniquely matched to a parent tag and only parents with matching tags can check kids in and out of classrooms. We have a police officer on the property and a trained security team in both locations. Once check-in is over, the building K-5th grade meet is locked.
In addition to having security protocols in place, every SC Kids volunteer has gone through a federal background check and they are trained to guarantee your child is safe and has the best experience possible.
SC Students
SC Students is the 6th-12th grade community at Soma City. Whether you join us on a Sunday or Thursday, our environments are designed with every teenager in mind - the kid who’s grown up in church and the first-time visitor too.
We create inviting spaces for teens to experience God, own their faith, and learn how to be a best friend to their community as disciples and followers of Jesus.
